Degree Study at Clark University
Students who want to study in one of Clark's undergraduate degree programs must apply directly to Clark University, not to ALCI. (The deadline for applications for the following academic year is February 1.)
International students who are admitted to Clark degree programs have above average academic records and a minimum TOEFL score of 550 paper or 213 computer.
Conditional/Provisional Admission to Clark University
Students whose academic profiles match most of the admission requirements of the University, but whose TOEFL scores are below 550 paper or 213 on the computer-based test, may be offered Conditional or Provisional Admission. Conditionally admitted students begin their studies at Clark by improving their English as full-time students in the ALCI Program. Provisionally admitted students begin their studies at Clark with a 2/2 program (2 English courses in ALCI and 2 undergraduate courses per semester). Upon successful completion of ALCI classes, and with the recommendation of ALCI faculty, students begin or continue degree study without further application.
